Questions

Frequently asked questions

A starting point for explaining how sessions work. These answers can be refined later.

What is kinesiology?

Kinesiology is a holistic approach that uses muscle monitoring as a form of biofeedback. It can help explore stress patterns, emotional themes, and practical ways to support balance.

What does trauma-informed mean?

Trauma-informed work recognises that overwhelming experiences can affect the nervous system, emotions, body sensations, and relationships. Sessions focus on safety, consent, pacing, and resources.

Do I need to talk about everything that happened?

No. Many people benefit from body-based support without sharing every detail. Barbara can work gently with what feels manageable and useful.

How long is a session?

Session length can be added here once confirmed. A common format is 60 to 90 minutes, with space at the beginning and end to settle and integrate.

Is this a replacement for medical care?

No. This work can complement medical or psychological care, but it does not replace diagnosis, emergency support, or treatment from a licensed medical professional.
